Biography
Prof. Dr. Md. Rafiqul Islam MBBS, FCPS, is now working as Professor of Medicine in North Bengal Medical College. He was graduated (MBBS) from Rajshahi Medical College (RMC20) in January 1985. He completed FCPS (Internal Medicine) in January 1994 from BCPS. His BMDC Reg. No. is A-15029. He served under MoHFW in different working places and positions including RMCH, BMU and former IPGMR and Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College (SZMC) and retired from SZMC as Professor and Head of Medicine. He has been providing consultation in IPD and OPD, lectures, task based training and research guidance for Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels. He organized or participated many scientific seminars, workshops, conferences and comgresses at home and abroad. He has special clinical and research interest in Infectious Diseases, Cardiology, Neurology, Endocrine diseases including Diabetes & Thyroid disorders and Rheumatology. He has published more than 30 scientific articles in national and internationally indexed medical journals.
